About Lesson
No prophet matures alone; every prophet must submit to mentorship. Elisha served Elijah (2 Kings 2:2-12). Joshua served Moses (Exodus 24:13). Timothy served Paul (2 Timothy 1:6). Mentorship provides: 1. Training in gifts – learning how to use spiritual tools (Proverbs 27:17). 2. Character formation – differentiating between character and behavior (Philippians 2:5). 3. Maturity through service – service makes you a master (Luke 16:12). 4. Blessing & impartation – receiving the mentor’s blessing seals your ministry (Deuteronomy 34:9). 📖 Hebrews 13:7 – “Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
