Just as in the physical world we have lawyers, judges, police, and soldiers, in the spiritual realm, prophets are also positioned in different offices. These are not earthly titles, but heavenly assignments given by God. 📖 Ephesians 6:12 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” 🏛 a) The Prophet as a Lawyer In the court of heaven, a prophet stands in intercession for people. Like a lawyer pleads for clients, the prophet pleads people’s cases before God. 📖 Job 16:21 – “Oh, that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleads for his neighbor.” ⚖️ b) The Prophet as a Judge A prophet may be called to pronounce judgment against evil, witchcraft, or rebellion. Elijah judged the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:40).
